Surfing and the bronzed Aussie is an iconic part of Australian culture, just like cricket and the Opera House…but sadly the grass roots of this Australian way of life is under severe threat.

The Australian surfboard manufacturing industry has been around for over 50 years and has grown into a vast trade exporting millions upon millions of dollars of surfboards around the globe and spawning big multinational surf brands such as Billabong, Quiksilver and Rip Curl to name just a few, not to mention the barrage of Australian World Champions of surfing over the years.
